Gretchen is busy in the world of composing. She has recently completed her work with Janet Goddard on the new musical, “The Mechanical Cat.” This story was written by Janet, who then formed it into a musical complete with song lyrics. Looking for a composer, Janet sought out Barbara Harbach, Composer and music instructor at UMSL, Missouri, who thought of Gretchen and brought them together. 18 months later, the musical was complete! Recently it was performed as a reading in participation with the women In The Arts Conference at UMSL.
NOVEMBER 6, 2011 – Here we have the enthusiastic and talented youth from Visitation Academy, and other Highschools in the area before the reading performance of “The Mechanical Cat”. A job so beautifully done!
