32 years ago while performing in the musical, “OLIVER!” a fellow performer begged Gretchen to give her vocal lessons. Thus Gretchen’s teaching began.
Gretchen has delighted in teaching voice students of all ages and capacities, from advanced students to those who “think they can’t sing”. Gretchen provides a solid technique, as well as coaching. She works with those who are working on auditions and recitals. In lessons, students will prepare and perform mini recitals in her studio to learn the solid techniques of presenting to the public.
Gretchen has discovered her love in teaching beginning piano to those of any age.
On JANUARY 14, 2012 Gretchen’s studio will present the 4th Annual Studio Recital.
8 WEEK PERFORMANCE STUDY
This is an excellent opportunity to prepare for auditions, or simply have a non-stressful experience of preparing songs and performing a mini recital.

3 art songs. and opera aria, and a show tune
5 standards
5 jazz tunes
